I know the hour-long bumpy bus ride is almost over when I see the ancient roman theater. We arrive in Gubbio, the small town in Umbria where my family is from.Every Tuesday morning the bottom piazza turns into a huge market! I can buy some flowers for my aunt!Lunch with Italian relatives: Eat a light breakfast because you know you’ll eat a lot of food!!Fresh ravioli was only the first dish! The newest relative, Francesco, was so cute! It was nice to finally meet him!Photo opp -My aunt and two of her children and me (on the right) – my mom always has me take a photo when I go to visit. We decided to hike up the mountain. The view made the hike worth it! – And we were able to walk some of that delicious lunch off.At the Top of Mt. Ingino we stopped at the cafe. Unfortunately it was closed, but we still could enjoy the view! We also stopped in the Basilica of Sant’Ubaldo (the town’s patron Saint). On the way down the mountain we took the funavia (a small chairlift).Sunsetting on the main street of the Gubbio.I found myself hungry so we stopped at a bar before heading back on the bus.
