Blog Daily Life Food Italy Reflection Temple Rome

Take one last walk before you go

When you think that you have seen all there is to see in your host city, know that there is more. In one of my previous posts, I talked about how walking around my neighborhood allowed me to find some of my favorite third places. Before I head home, I wanted to see more of the neighborhood that I have lived in for four months. So, me and my friends took a walk, and we ended up finding a delicious restaurant that was near us this entire time. I am a sucker for delicious meals, and not only was the food delicious, but it was also inexpensive. We were able to talk to the owners who were close to our age and enthusiastic rap fans. We talked about life back home and our time in Rome while the owners told us how they got into owning the place. The vibe and service were great and the owners’ passion for what they did permeated throughout the restaurant. I was lucky to find another great eatery with a few days left on my trip! Check out some of my other favorite restaurants in Rome that serve non-Italian food.
